After the great success of last year City Eye is proud to announce the return of SFW: Youth Film Festival.
SFW: Youth Film Festival 2011 is inviting young filmmakers to submit films to the Filmmaking Competition. Films can be in any style or genre but must be no longer than 6 minutes and be entered before the closing date of 5pm on 29th September 2011. Prizes will be awarded this year in three categories (under 11, under 16 and under 19) and a fourth category for the best film will be awarded by audience votes on the day. Last years competition saw 20 films entered with the shortlisted films screened at the Harbour Lights Cinema in Southampton. Here’s your chance to join the Dolphin Class from Westover Primary School who were last year’s ‘Audience ‘ vote winners with their film ‘There’s a Spider in our classroom’.
