There past the borders of nowhere:
A John Hansard Gallery event organised in partnership with Southampton Film Week.
On Tuesday 14 November John Hansard Gallery presents a curated evening of artist’s film at God’s House Tower. The films on show offer a continuation of the gallery’s summer programme, one which centred around the themes of ‘…a good neighbour’, in partnership with the Istanbul Biennial 2017. John Hansard Gallery’s subsequent summer outreach activity responded to notions of home and neighbourhood, and the changes in ways we interact with one another and live in our private spheres.
This continuing line of enquiry into interaction and community reflects the Gallery’s emphasis on public outreach and engagement. Additionally, the evening’s programme marks a return to conversations with some of the many artists that John Hansard Gallery has engaged with over recent years.
