City Eye Cinema presents Festive Films

Coming Soon...City Eye, and therefore Southampton Film Week, is working hard on plans for our exciting move to Studio 144 on Guildhall Square in Southampton. Whilst the fit-out of the arts spaces continues inside, Guildhall Walk is already looking glorious in the autumn sun with the tables and chairs which spill on to it from the cafe's and restaurants on the ground floor. Its a great place to pause for refreshment or to just take a moment whilst admiring the architecture and its relationship with the Civic Centre, Guildhall, the square and East Park. Soon there will be fabulous art and cultural events to head for within the building itself, but as more events and activities begin to take place in and around Guildhall Square and the Cultural Quarter there is a growing sense of excitement. We can't wait to be there and think the move is a particularly fitting way to mark our 30th anniversary.
At Studio 144 we will be able to extend the support and opportunities we offer to the region's filmmakers and whilst we will also continue to work with communities from across the City and its surrounding areas we are excited that those communities will be able to come to us and experience the unique and rich mix of art and creativity on offer from City Eye and our partners John Hansard Gallery and Nuffield. |
