For Several years artists and filmmakers Anna Cady and Pauline Thomas worked together on two films 'Air' and 'Water' for Anna's project 'Elemental Dialogues'. Water was unfinished when Pauline died in January 2016 although she and Anna had done much of the filming for it together.
Anna has worked on to finish the film and has now embedded back into it the incredibly varied interpretations of brilliant poets and sound artists who recorded their responses for her. The work was installed recently in the 13th Century Cellarium at the National Trust's Mottisfont for Romsey Film Festival and we are delighted return there for this special Southampton Film Week performance event with film, drawing, music and poetry.
