CELEBRATING FILM IN THE CITY


Between 7th and 16th October Southampton Film Week will transform the City into the South’s film capital.   Join us for another exciting mix of film screenings, workshops, master-classes and competitions – whether your fascination is with filmmaking or film watching there will be plenty to excite you.   Southampton Film Week, now in its fourth year, is led by community film company City Eye but sees people, organisations and venues all over the City celebrating film together – why not join in!

Everything kicks off this year with the SFW: Youth Film Festival – an event planned, organised and run by a group of dedicated young film lovers very much focused on creating a fun and exciting event for all young people in the City.  SFW: YFF will run from 7th – 9th October.

Read on for information on all the planned events and if you would like to help make this year’s event happen please get in touch.  We are eager to hear from volunteers, event sponsors and hosts.  Last year almost 12,000 people got involved in some way – let's make it even bigger this year!
